Happy Sunday everyone!
I hope you all have a bit of time outside to enjoy this amazing weather! Looks like it gets chilly tomorrow night - make sure those scouts are warm for our Trunk o' Treat! We have lots of volunteers decorating trunks and bringing candy. THANK YOU!!!!! Please leave the main parking lot for those that are decorating trunks. There is plenty of parking in the ACE hardware lot or on the other side of the church. This will help to keep our kids safe. One huge announcement - - - Troop 007 will be selling hotdogs, chips and drink for $5! No need to worry about dinner before or after scouts tomorrow night! Eat there and support our troop!
Tomorrow is also the last night to bring in food for the pantry filling contest!!! Make sure your den leader sees what you bring before putting them in the hall. I don't have the count from last week but the bears are pretty far ahead! Remember that the church is throwing the group with the highest count a pizza party!!!
November's Pack Meeting will be all about service. We were gifted a lot of blue and yellow fabric from a very kind neighbor! The amazing ladies of the church are helping us to cut it into blanket sized pieces. I'll need some volunteers to help cut strips down all the sides so that they are ready to tie at our meeting Nov 30. If I've done the math correctly there is enough for each scout that ties a blanket for either Veterans or Foster care, to have one for themselves! Scouts must be at meeting to get a blanket for themselves as all extras will be donated that week. Please let me know if you have time during the day to meet me at the church to do some cutting!
You all did amazing at selling popcorn this year!!! Our final sales are today so we will have the info on how great we did this week! Stay tuned!!!!
