THIS SATURDAY – Class A Uniform all day
Scouting for FoodOur big food pickup happens next Saturday. Neighborhoods should have food placed outside by 9am on Saturday. Please plan on returning to your assigned neighborhoods soon after 9am to collect any food donations. Then you will be bringing food to Pilgrims Inn at 236 W Main St, Rock Hill, SC 29730. I will be there early to meet you and help unload. If you did not sign up and would like to help out, let me know asap so we can get you with another group. There are a few signs to remind people to put out food put out around the neighborhoods. If you see one on Saturday, please pick it up and bring it with you.
Lunch
Troop scouts will be selling hotdogs, chips, fruit, and drinks at the church gym starting around noon. Come hang out in the gym if you like before the derby.
Pinewood Derby
Pinewood Derby race will begin at 1pm at Woodland in the gym. We race den by den with top three racing at the end for top spots. If all goes well should only last a couple of hours. IF you did NOT turn in your car at the meeting on Monday, I will be at the gym on Friday at 4pm. This is your last opportunity!
THIS SUNDAY – Class A Uniform
Scout Sunday
If you are available and interested, we welcome you to attend Woodland UMC. Service at Woodland starts at 10:30. We will gather at the back of the church at 10:15 to walk flags in. Our COR, Alec, will be conducting the service with readings and scout update by our leaders.
Potluck Lunch
Immediately following service we will have a potluck lunch. Everyone is invited to bring a dish using the first letter of your last name. Tea and Lemonade will be provided by the church.

Duty to God
For anyone interested in completing the Duty to God requirement, members of Woodland UMC will be holding classes immediately following the potluck. Georgia Aquarium
There is still room to sign up!! Must be at least 6 years old to attend. Cost of $111 per person and includes admission, sleeping all together as a big group in the aquarium, snack on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. Final payment is due February 5th. Every family will have to pay parking per car. There is an option to prepay parking for $15. https://forms.gle/
