Happy Friday scout families!
Just a reminder that there is no meeting on Monday on President's Day. We will meet again in the gym on the 26th for our big Blue and Gold Banquet. This is where our scouts get rewarded with their rank patches, and other awards. Please be aware that all awards must be ordered by Tuesday the 19th. If you have anything to do with your scout this weekend so that they earn rank, you MUST let your den leader know on Monday!!! There are still many scouts that have outstanding things due like Protect Yourself rules and Duty to God. Make sure you know where your scout stands!!!!! This mostly applies to Bears and Webelos at this point. There are still many scouts that came in later than others that will not get their badge this month but will be awarded the badge at our Spring Picnic in May. Plenty of time in the rest of our scouting year to still earn rank.
The Blue and Gold ceremony will include dinner of baked ziti, salad and cupcakes. There will be gluten free pasta choices as well as dye, gluten and dairy free cupcakes. Be sure to let someone know if you need these options when you get your food. The rank award ceremony will be followed by our Crossover ceremony that will be held in the Sanctuary immediately following. If you are not attending the Crossover ceremony for our AOLs, please make an effort to help clean up the gym if you can. Any and all help is much appreciated!!!
