Pack 109 Updates - 4/2/2024

Howdy! I hope you all are enjoying your spring break! Lots of fun stuff happening when we get back to scouts. Remember we are back to regular den meetings on Monday, April 8.

Come See Me parade - April 11
Registration: https://forms.gle/9pDJaGUF5bjumjBk7
Our pack is participating in the Come See Me Parade. We can only have 30 scouts participate per parade rules. Details in sign up.

SuperNOVA Mars Party - April 18 at 630pm at Winthrop University
This is for those members of the SuperNOVA club only that have been working on their awards all year long. Awards will be presented at 6:30pm with reception to follow. Be on the lookout for sign ups to review your progress with your mentor. Please make sure that you have completed all requirements by the end of this week if you plan to receive your award.

Pancake Fundraiser - April 20 in Woodland Gym
Help support our leaders in sending them to required trainings. Our scouts deserve trained leaders and that's what this is all about! Come enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage and fruit. Adults $10 and youth (3-17) are $5 each. Money raised helps our leaders pay for the training courses we need to support your scouts. Did you know that our BALOO - Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (required in order to take scouts camping) costs $35 per person. Woodbadge training is $135 if taken within our council and over $200 of outside. Plus all of our leaders pay an annual membership fee. For even info click here: https://fb.me/e/16zDQdRMe

Spring Campout at Chester State Park - May 10-12
Sign ups are coming soon for this camping trip. We will meet in time for dinner on Friday night and leave after breakfast on Sunday. Each den will be responsible for planning and preparing a meal but pack will purchase the items. Fee will be max of $23 per
person, which includes two nights camping and 5 meals. We are looking at fun events such as fishing, disc golf, hiking and crafts. If any parents would like to help plan the event let me know!

Last meeting of the year is our Spring Picnic. Woodland is providing hamburgers and hotdogs. Each den will be responsible for organizing side dishes for their den. This is also our last opportunity to present awards to our scouts. If your scout has not earned rank yet, be sure to work on that with your den leader before this meeting.
